O'Brien Abeles LLP focuses on litigation and counselling for clients in the business, entertainment and insurance communities. The firm was founded by attorneys who had previously been partners in a major California law firm and who, collectively, have experience working at several of the largest law firms in the nation.

The Super Lawyer honor is bestowed on only five percent of Southern California's licensed attorneys, and is based on an independent research survey of more than 65,000 attorneys who were asked "to vote for the best lawyers they had personally observed," rather than on reputation. A Rising Star designation is conferred on attorneys also as a result of an independent survey, who are either age 40 or under, or who have been in practice for 10 years or less. The results of the Super Lawyers survey are published in Los Angeles magazine.

O'Brien Abeles maintains an office in Los Angeles, and an Of Counsel relationship with Friedemann Goldberg LLP in Santa Rosa, to serve clients in both Southern California and Northern California.
